I remember it fondly. Summer. Warmth. Golden sunsets. Oh yes, those were the good ole days.
Now, as I sit here blogging away with thick wool socks on and a cold landscape out my window, I long for the dog days of summer. Alas, I'll have to wait another 6 months for that to arrive so I'll do the next best thing...I'll blog all the gorgeous summer sessions I had the privilege of capturing.
Up on the blog today is one of my faves. This is the 3rd or 4th time I've captured them (and have since photographed the little lovelies again this winter) and I never leave their sessions without a goofy grin on my face. We have a blast, and I'm hoping the fun we have translates well on camera.
My family sessions go a little like this:
shake hands with the littles, make goofy faces, snap some pics, tell goofy jokes, snap some pics, ask them about their fave things, snap snap snap, run around, snap. It's why I love full sessions. We have time to let things happen organically. Kids get a chance to warm up to me, parents get a chance to sit back and relax and watch the fun unfold, and that sun starts setting all glorious-like on the horizon. It's my own little zen. Everybody with me now "ommmmmmmm."
Without further adeau, lets enjoy a little mid-summer fun with the C Family!
