"I never want a daughter! They're moody, emotional, have high pitched screams, like the color pink, and and and..."
And then I met Harlow. Her mum is my best friend and kindred spirit. However, they live in Tennessee and since life is crazy, we hadn't the opportunity to meet little miss in person until recently. Sure, I've seen plenty of pics on FB and text. And sure, I've heard that screeching and laughter in the background of phone calls. But Harlow is one that needs to be met in person. Man, she cast a spell over me. Pure magic and adorability. Is adorability even a word? If not, it should be, with Harlow's face smack dab next to it. So if anyone could change my mind about wanting a daughter, it would be her. However, I'm much too old for that pregnancy, newborn, up all night business so I shall live vicariously through my bestie as she raises a spirited young lass.
Now, I'm not an easy friend to have. I'm ill-tempered at times, flake out on plans more than not thanks to a wretched schedule, and have a knack for being uncensored. But despite my short-comings, I have a few redeeming qualities that make me a keeper. I'm loyal, fiercely protective, love deep, and happen to take a good pic or two from time to time. So obviously when Harlow and company come into town for a visit, a photoshoot was a must! Unfortunately, due to a thunderstorm roling in, it was a brief shoot. But pshhht, with Harlow's beauty, it's all the time we needed.
le sigh. I love her so...
