Most pics of my littles are action shots. Ones where I'm all ninja like in the bushes and they don't even know what's happening. I capture them in the moment, and love those shots to pieces. But sometimes mama wants a little shoot with her boys that doesn't involve dirty fingernails or sword fighting.
On this beautiful day, they just happened to have a fresh haircut, and I just happened to be heading out to the Sterling State Park for a client shoot when I thought "hmmm, let's have those handsome nuggets tag along so I can snappy poo a few pics." And by a few pics, I mean literally 5 minutes of *somewhat* cooperation. They're brothers, they're 5 and 7 years old, so I'm impressed I got that many minutes, to be quite honest.
I love their eyes. Their lips. Their goofy grins. Even their fake smiles because it cracks me up. These boys have captured my heart like no other, and I'll love them to the end of days and beyond. The lucky ladies to snatch them up later in life...like THIRTY YEARS FROM NOW kind of later...will be very blessed women. Because these boys are growing into fine young men and they couldn't make me prouder.
Love you infinity times infinity, yon heathens.
